For Just 2 Easy Payments

When I was younger I thought mini pops were awesome and I wanted to have their tape so badly. I thought they were so cool. I actually thought the kids sounded better singing 'Wake Me Up Before You GoGo' than Wham did. And up until this afternoon I still thought that ... then my reality as I knew it changed.

I saw a commercial for 'Mini Pops' ( Oh yes,they're back and singing all your favourites, 'Boom Boom Pow' , 'All The Single Ladies', 'Poker Face' and other hits.) and I am not going to lie, those kids are creepy. Especially when you watch the videos for the songs with the awkward choreographed dancing. The worst ones were the Beyonce songs - nothing against Beyonce- I am mean for real these kids are 10 years old singing about being single and puttin' a ring on it.
So creepy!

Gearin' Up For The Season

The 3 of you ( all 3 of you that read my blog), may be wondering how I am gearing up for the season ... you know the up coming concert season. This season has got to be a good one because it will most likely be my last for a couple years, babies really put a damper on concert going. I am not making any announcements, b/c there is nothing to announce, but one must plan for the future.

So on the docket so far this season I have U2 (June 23). I really wanted to see John Mayer but he is coming on Sunday, and if I don't let my kids go to birthday parties on Sunday I really shouldn't go to a concert - stupid example setting.

I tried getting Guns N' Roses tix, but those metal heads are quick on the draw. (totally kidding about the GNR tix, I was first in line - January 17th baby).

Seriously?! Look at that guy.

I Don't Wanna Be A Grown Up!

You know when you were in high school and adults would come up to you and say " I remember when you were a baby or just walking ... etc." I didn't hate it when they did that, but I most certainly thought - I am never going to do that.

Well ... I guess I am officially an adult , being married for ten years with 2 kids and a mortgage did not make me adult, but repeating THOSE words to my cousin does. I just couldn't help it, honestly! I had to say it. When I saw him all these memories of babysitting him and swinging him around by his overalls (he loved it and I was a great babysitter) just came flooding back to me. He was standing in front of me a man, makes me so proud ... tear.

I only said it once even though I thought it like every time I saw him. He is in grade 11. I can't believe it. I honestly feel like I am still in high school and I don't think I look any different - RIGHT. Anyone out there want to disagree with me? Because I'll fight you! (yup, just like high school.)

Is There A Doctor In The House?

In the past 2 years I have been through 3 family doctors. They have all been amazing, but they all leave for one reason or another. So I now have a new doctor and he seems to be really good and everything, and as long as I stay in top form it should all be good - right?

Although I am pleased with my new doc I was really hoping to get in with Dr. Oz. Is he taking new patients?

I want him to be my family doctor. I love him. I love watching his show. Especially when he does the truth tube, that's my fav - oh, I also love when they do workouts and Dr. Oz joins them.

Do you think he would consider moving from NYC where he has his own show and is a cardiac surgeon to come to Edmonton and be my family doctor? If he came I would also allow him to deliver my babies, I think he could do it.

TWing Is Hard Work!

I am exhausted! Being a full time TW has taken up so much of my time that I haven't had any extra moments to BLOG.

Actually I was all blogged out. Just had nothin'. So much so that I thought of cancelling my account. But I didn't and I think I am back on the blog train? We'll see.

Just a little note for all of you out there who don't live here, but wish you did. A week ago our beautiful city was the coldest place on the planet.

Now that's a place I wish I lived... the coldest place on earth!
