I Do Realize Christmas Was Over 2 Months Ago.

This Christmas I had a great idea. Actually, I'll give credit where credit is due. My sister gave me a great idea from creepin' on someones blog - PS, she has never even met this girl, CREEEPY. (hee hee).

Anywho, instead of an advent calender this year, we had a special visitor pop into our house everyday reminding us how many days until Christmas and sharing a story from Jesus' life. He would write my kids letters and give them treats. He would show up at different times each day and in a new hiding spot.

It was so fun. Ethan would write to him and we found out all sorts of interesting things about him.

* he has lots of brothers and sisters

* he loves chocolate

I don't know if it is a comment on me as her aunt or if she just can't say Kaycee. But Nixon now calls me Assy. Knowing Nixon it wouldn't surprise me if it was the first. She's got alot of tude!

I have a confession to make ... I am addicted to the i-tunes store. I have had to put in place some serious restrictions. I have cut myself off completely. I can't even go visit the website. Even if I take a quick peek, I end up spending $50. That adds up when you visit a few times a week. $300 later and my family has no food for the week.

My self imposed ban can be lifted when I know all the words to every song I have downloaded. Then I get to buy some new music. Seriously I love it! .... maybe I'll take just a quick look.
